This class will be taught partially online, with two class meeting times replaced by online instruction using Desire2Learn (D2L). Face to face class sessions move to different locations in the Library throughout the semester. Please consult your syllabus or check the syllabus posted on the instructor's office door.
Purpose of this course: To become proficient and discerning in using print, electronic, and other library resources to obtain relevant information.
GROUND RULES: This course is pass-fail only. Attendance is mandatory. To pass, students must attend all classes and complete all assignments. Unless otherwise instructed, assignments must be handed in on paper and in person (not through D2L). In the event of a true emergency, it is your responsibility to contact the instructor for arrangements. Missed classes must be made up by the student during the instructor's office hours (see above); the student must satisfactorily complete the regular assignment; and the student must satisfactorily complete an additional make-up assignment.
Any student with perfect attendance (excluding made-up sessions) and 100% satisfactory and timely completion of all assignments will be exempt from taking the final exam.
Materials: You are not required to purchase any materials for this course.
