Aaron Nichols is new Access Services Librarian

Aaron Nichols has joined the Library Faculty as our Access Services Librarian. Aaron comes to UWSP with a MLIS from the University of Rhode Island, and a BA in History from the University of Massachusetts. He previously was the Head of Reserve, Media and Microforms at the W.E.B. DuBois Library at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. Aaron has an interest in instructional design (also known as education technology), and has worked with various media and systems in libraries.

Prior to his move to Massachusetts, Aaron was the Public Services Librarian at the University of Wisconsin-Marinette. He has relocated back to the Midwest and is living in Stevens Point with his wife and two children.

In addition to coordinating the Circulation, Reserve, Interlibrary Loan and Distance Education services, Aaron will also participate in reference and teaching in the Library’s instruction program.
