What makes a “good teacher”? How do good teachers “teach”? What do good teachers value as rewards? How do good teachers become “good teachers”?
Come to the Phi Kappa Phi annual spring colloquium on Wednesday, March 26th and hear three current UWSP classroom faculty members discuss “good teaching”. Dr. Donald Showalter, Dr. Charles Young, and Dr. Keith Rice have all received the Board of Regents Teaching Excellence Award. They will discuss their approach to classroom teaching, how they have been influenced in their teaching styles, and how they believe students learn.
Date: Wednesday, March 26, 2003
Time: 3:00—4:00 p.m.
Where: Legacy Room, University Center
