The Second Floor of the University Library Recarpeted

During May 17-28, the 2d floor was closed to the public for asbestos removal and carpet installation.   During the project, current and back issues of print periodicals and microforms on the 2d floor were made available to be paged at the Main Checkout Desk in the lobby.  Information Technology Administration was relocated to the lower level. Periodicals staff were available at the Main Checkout area on the first floor. The Wisconsin Institute for Peace and Conflict Studies relocated to room 305A.  The project did not impact electronic access to resources or any other floor in the building.

Services and offices were restored on Tuesday, June 1.
