Library Expands Weekend Hours

In response to a resolution from the Student Government Association (SGA), the campus has agreed to fund expanded weekend hours for the University Library. The resolution was authored by Douglas Rogers, Senator, Letters and Science, and Sarah Houfe, SGA's Academic Issues Director. Jessica Hussin, SGA's President, presented the resolution to the Chancellor's Cabinet. Although a number of options for expanded hours were considered, it was agreed that additional weekend hours would best serve the needs of the UWSP community. The additional hours will provide access to the Main Library Circulation, Periodicals, Reserves, and Book Stacks on LRC floors 1-5. The additional hours are:

• Fridays: 4:30pm - 9pm
• Saturdays: 4:30pm - 9pm
• Sundays: 11:00pm - 1am
