Our Vision: a learning place for a diverse community, inspiring people of all
ages with the love of reading and learning, advancing the pursuit of
knowledge, and enhancing the quality of life for all who use the library. The

GRAPHIC: LIBRARIES FOR REAL LIFE LOGO

Portage County Public Library (PCPL) has been improving community life since its inception, and in the process has had significant impact on the lives of individual residents.

Many of these inspiring stories deserve to be told. PCPL, in partnership with the South Central Library System (SCLS), is collecting and sharing these stories through a new project called "Libraries for Real Life!"

"Libraries...for Real Life!" reinforces the reality that today's public libraries are vibrant, dynamic community resources that meet the information, education, and recreational needs of residents of all ages.

We're excited about this project and hope that our community takes the opportunity to share the ways Portage County Public Library has positively impacted their lives.  Please share your story!

Click on the above graphic to write your story and sign the permission slip as well.  Or, you can pick up paper copies of the forms at the library and help yourself to a bookmark.

We'd love to hear from you. Thank you
