    African American Biographical Database -- connect now
    The largest electronic collection of biographical information on African Americans from 1790-1950. From the famous to the everyday person, AABD includes profiles and full-text sketches providing both biographical detail and illuminating narratives chronicling the lives of Black Americans.

    EBSCOhost offers databases of general interest, academic and business magazine titles, health reference information, and much more. Many articles are available in full text.

    HeritageQuest provides access to genealogy records and books, including census data, local histories, tax rolls, cemetery lists, military rosters, and more.

    Literature Resource Center -- connect now
    Search the Literature Resource Center to find information about authors and their works. The LRC covers more than 90,000 novelists, poets, essayists, journalists and other writers.

    LitFinder -- connect now
    Includes thousands of full-text poems, short stories, essays, speeches and plays. Also includes biographies, work summaries, photos, and a glossary.

    The netLibrary collection includes the searchable full text of over 6,000 online books and it will continue to grow. This collection was purchased from netLibrary by a consortium of more than 165 Wisconsin Public Libraries.

    NoveList is a fiction database that provides reviews, annotations, and much more for over 135,000 fiction titles. It also includes other content of interest to fiction readers, such as Author Read-alikes, What We're Reading, Book Discussion Guides, BookTalks, and Annotated Book Lists.
