OUR MISSION

The Portage County Public Library provides equal opportunity access to information, high quality materials, programs, and on-line resources to meet the needs of our diverse community for lifelong learning, cultural enrichment, and intellectual stimulation.

OUR VISION

The Portage County Public Library is the learning place for a diverse community, inspiring people of all ages with the love of reading and learning, advancing the pursuit of knowledge, and enhancing the quality of life for all who use the library. The library serves as a community meeting place and we especially recognize our responsibility to serve as a place for children to discover the joy of reading and the value of learning.
