Young Adult Summer Library Program
The Library's Youth Services Department provides an eight week program
during the summer for 6-12th graders. Included in the program are opportunities
to volunteer, perform puppet shows and readers’ theaters, work at the library's
Crazy Days Book Sale and much more. Also, as part of the program, there is a reading incentive
with rewards for reading and participating in the program. For more information call the
Library's Youth Services Department at 346-1549.

Joust Read:
Read, attend library programs, volunteer & earn prizes. As you read, enter your name in a weekly drawing. As you participate in the Summer Program, earn points to receive a prize. More information at the Youth Services Desk.

    New  TeenRead 05 blog . TeenRead 05 is a blog that provides a forum for teens to discuss contemporary books. The blog is moderated by teen services librarians who have read all the discussion titles and enjoy talking and blogging about great books. TeenRead is a cooperative program from SCLS member libraries

    Welcome to Fabulous Fiction.  FabFiction is an award-winning website from England aimed at inspiring young people to read.  This site was created by two 13-year-old boys.   It a flash-based user friendly site, easy to use, humorous with a tinge of tongue-in-cheek flavor.
