Rheinhold's Monkey Bronze (Paris, France; owned by Jean-Marc Weill)

 

 

Height of bronze without base: 17 cm (with base: 20 cm). Brown patina. Foundry markings: AKT.GES GLADENBECK BERLIN D7009. Hexagonal black-and-white marble base (ca. 3 cm thick).

 

This is the medium-sized "monkey" version of Gladenbeck's line of production (see the Gladenbeck Catalog, Nr. 1193).
