PolicyMap is an online U.S. national data and mapping tool and analytics platform with multidisciplinary applications for college students and faculty. It serves to aid research related to social sciences, urban studies, real estate and housing analysis, community and economic development, public administration, public health, policy and political science, education, business, economics, statistics, and geography, among others. Users can leverage thousands of U.S. data indicators in PolicyMap to perform demographic and socioeconomic analysis, from a neighborhood census block group in many cases up to a national level, as well as create custom regions for their research and studies.

Digital Sanborn Maps (1867-1970)
Digital Sanborn Maps – Wisconsin provides digital access to 1348 large-scale maps of 273 Wisconsin towns and cities, including Amherst, Stevens Point, Wausau, Waupaca, Marshfield, Madison, Milwaukee, Green Bay, and many others.

Wisconsin Well Water Quality Interactive Viewer
The viewer relies on voluntarily submitted well water samples from homeowners and other well water data collected by state agencies over the past 25 years.

Wisconsin State Climatology Office
This office provides recent and historical data about Wisconsin temperature, precipitation, and snowfall. Along with monthly climate summaries, information also is available for lake ice, drought, and agriculture.
Wisconsin energy statistics
The Wisconsin Energy Statistics Portal serves as a comprehensive source of data on energy consumption, generation, prices, expenditures, and renewable energy development.
Wisconsin water use
The DNR’s Water Use Program implements the Great Lakes–St. Lawrence River Basin Water Resources Compact and focuses on statewide water quantity.
UWSP Environmental Monitoring Station
The Environmental Monitoring Station in Schmeeckle Reserve collects real-time environmental data for use in classes and research. Several environmental conditions are being monitored and recorded. Current and past data can be viewed as graphs and downloaded into tables for further processing.
Wisconsin DNR Groundwater Retrieval Network
The network reports well information and well sample result data from several DNR databases.
Nitrate in Wisconsin's Public Water Systems
Public water systems are required to submit annual nitrate samples to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. These data create an opportunity to learn about current quality in addition to exploring changes in nitrate concentrations over time in these wells.

Lake water quality reports
Volunteers, DNR staff, county staff and others collect water clarity, temperature and dissolved oxygen, as well as other water quality data, on lakes across Wisconsin.
Central Sands Lakes Study
The study used extensive data collection and groundwater flow modeling to evaluate the impacts of groundwater withdrawals on lake levels for Pleasant, Long and Plainfield Lakes in Waushara County.
