Obituaries from 1881- to date are included in the Stevens Point Area Obituary Index, which covers issues of the Stevens Point Journal from 1872 to date.  The daily (except Sunday) Stevens Point Journal was titled the Stevens Point Daily Journal from 1895-1980.  A weekly newspaper titled the Stevens Point Journal (titled The Point from 1870-71) appeared from 1872-1920.

The current issue is kept at the Periodical Desk. Issues from 1895- are on microfilm in University Archives on the 5th floor of the University Library.
